A DAY ON THE GREEN

This year’s artist line-up for A Day on the Green was a blast from the past – Choirboys, Ian Moss, Darryl Braithwaite and Noiseworks.

The very first cassette tape I ever bought was Noiseworks and I remember rewinding all my favourite songs and playing them for hours in my bedroom. So for me, the best song of the night was when Noiseworks played Touch – the atmosphere was amazing and, like everyone else, the lyrics rolled off the back of my tongue just like when I was 12. This photo was taken during that song, it was a magic moment.

Darryl Braithwaite’s ‘Horses’ was a very close second place…
