Around the fertile river-flats, Mudgee’s rural landscape consists of wide open fields, often dotted with hay bales. I lent in to take this shot and squeezed my camera through a hole in the fence. As I took the shot I got a big zap – I’d not realized it was an electric fence! Luckily this shot worked as I wasn’t going back for a second attempt.
