A popular summer activity in the region is to cool off and have some fun with family and friends at one of the large dams or rivers. Today at Windamere Dam there were people skiing and wakeboarding, and as the sun started to set people came down to the bank to try their luck catching a fish.
This shot was taken in the early evening, on one of the last runs for the day before the ski boats headed back to shore. To me this shot represents summer – hot days, fun with mates and a warm lingering evening glow.
