This photograph was taken of the fire located 15km SE of Mudgee, between Lue Road and Riverlea Road. Luckily the heavens opened up and dumped some welcoming rain.
It really makes you feel for all those people who have been devastated by fires around the state – particularly those at nearby Coonabarabran where the extent of loss is unimaginable.
So a big thank you to all those in our local emergency services, who work so tirelessly for our benefit under such difficult circumstances.
